1. Among the sampling group, those who started drinking before the age of 19 were mostly at their 20`s and 30`s while those who started drinking at the age of 19 or later were mostly at their 30`s and 40`s. The ratio of married employees among those who started drinking before the age of 19 were 75% while that of those who started drinking at the age of 19 or later were 86.8%, indicating significant difference between these two groups.
2. For drinking patterns, there exists significant difference between these two groups in drinking to the bottom, forced drinking, drinking alcohol-cocktail with more experiences in those who started drinking before the age of 19. Although significant difference is not observed, those who started drinking before the age of 19 had more experience in drinking not to break the mood and exchanging glasses than those who started drinking at the age of 19 or later.
3. Also, in negative experiences including sexual abuse, violence, unlawfulness, brawl, drunken driving, the two groups showed significant difference with higher likelihood in those who started drinking before the age of 19.
4. Problem drinking scores of the employees who started drinking before the age of 19 and those who started drinking at the age of 19 or later were 13.19 and 10.34, respectively, implying significant statistical difference (t=2.869, p=0.005).
5. Job stress score of the employees who started drinking before the age of 19 appeared significantly higher than that of those who started drinking at the age of 19 or later (t=2.210, p=0.028).
